Comptroller’s Office detects alerts in millionaire projects with royalty resources

The Comptroller’s Office identified 185 projects that were approved by the OCAD, but had not been contracted and exceeded $821,000 million.

“To date, of this universe, 90 projects have not been contracted, 25 are in the process of being contracted, 36 were disapproved, 18 are being executed, 15 are contracted without a start-up agreement and only one has been completed,” he warned.

Likewise, the DIARI detected 96 projects for $1.26 trillion that are overdue or delayed and on which the Royalties Monitoring and Auditing Unit initiated 25 special actions, which have generated 8 fiscal findings for $84,000 million in projects totaling $252,000 million.

He added that “17 projects are in the finalization stage of the audit stage to establish possible fiscal findings; and another 48 that exceed $348,000 million will be incorporated into the CGR’s Fiscal Surveillance Plan for the first half of 2021″.
